ABC sells a variety of replacement parts and spare parts for our engines. All certified spare parts for engine families DX and DZ are available on stock. Repaired parts are supplied through our main logistics center in Gent which supplies new as well as rebuilt parts. We carry the full line of subcontractor parts and RBE (repair by exchange services), for liners, cylinder heads, water pumps etc.

Cylinderhead

The cylinderhead is equipped with valve seats, 2 inlet and 2 stellated exhaust valves, a safety valve and a decompression valve. An intermediate deck assures a forced water circulation around the valves seats and the centrally mounted nozzle.

Piston & Cylinder Liner

The piston is equipped with 4 thin rings, 1 fire chrome ring, 2 compression rings and one oil-scraper ring located above the floating piston pin. The cylinder liner is produced from a wear resistant centrifugal cast iron slightly alloyed with chromium.

Fuel Injection

Each cylinder has its own individual injection pump, regulated by a hydraulic governor. The injection pipes are interchangeable, short and resistant to high pressures.

Bearings

The main and connecting rod bearings are produced from thin steel shells covered by tin-Alu layer with a nickel barrier and an overlay plating with corrosion resistant flash.
